La Conchita, Calif. Ventura police officers carry a resident of La Conchita away on a stretcher after being rescued from her home, which was buried by a landslide January 11, 2005. Firefighter’s worked for over an hour to rescue her from her home. Ten other people were not as lucky and lost their lives in the mudslide.
